Pork Souvlaki Recipe

10 ml Lemon Juice
30-50 ml Olive Oil
Oregano
1 lb or 450 grams Cubed Pork, lamb or chicken
1 Green Pepper
1 Yellow Pepper
2 Onions
Salt & Pepper
Brochette/sosatie sticks
Tzaziki
Pita breads or wraps
Diced tomato
Lettuce

Mix the olive oil, lemon juice and oregano together and place the pork in the mixture to marinate for a few hours.

Cut onion and peppers in a way that results in pieces in similar size to the pork cubes.

Skewer the onions, peppers and meat alternating between each so that no two pieces next to each other are the same.

Barbecue or grill the skewers until cooked.

Heat the pita breads or wraps in the oven or microwave just before the skewers are cooked.

Place enough tzaziki, one skewer, tomato and lettuce in pita or wrap carefully and enjoy.
