1 Can shelled Clams in water Bacon 5-10 strips as desired 1/2 Stick Celery diced 1/2 onion diced 1 Clove Garlic diced 1 Cup of Water or more 3 Potatoes diced into small cubes 80-100 ml Full Cream Salt & Pepper White Flour |

Fry the bacon in a pot until cooked to liking. Put aside on a plate with a paper towel to drain grease. Fry onion, garlic and celery for about 5 minutes or until lightly cooked on medium heat. Add water, potatoes and some of the clam water and boil for 15-20 minutes. Add clams, cream and some more of the clam water and cook for another 5 mins while adding flour to thicken the chowder to thickish consistency. Add salt & pepper to taste and serve in a bowl crumbling bacon into chowder. |
