| 1 lb or 1/2kg lean beef mince 2 cans chopped or diced tomatoes 1 can of tomato paste 2 kidney beans cans rinsed and drained 3 cloves garlic chopped 1 large onion chopped 1 packet chili mix 1 pepper chopped into small pieces Oregano, Basil, Salt & Pepper, Chilies to taste Grated cheese Rice |

| Fry the onions and garlic gently until lightly browned. Add in beef mince and cook well until browned. Add spices to taste, chili mix, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, kidney beans and mix well and add a bit of water. Simmer gently for 30 mins stirring every 5 to 10 minutes. Add chopped pepper and cook for a further 5-10 mins. Serve with rice and top chili with grated cheese. |
